The Cosmed Group, Platinum sponsors for the event, welcomed 135 guests to a fun-filled evening that included the rhythmic groove of Larry Brown’s Swinglane Orchestra and the “Great Unmasking” to reveal the identities of those in attendance.

Mayor Harry Winthrop led the assembly in a successful “Fund the Future Paddle Raise” that pledged $30,000 to fund enrichment programs, social services and nutrition programs offered at the Edward King House.

In 2019, the Edward King House will celebrate 50 years as Aquidneck Island’s leading service organization committed to serving the 50-plus population of Newport County as a hub for resources and opportunities that support adult learning, independent living and an enriched quality of life.
